(KNSI) — Two people were hospitalized late Tuesday after a van versus semi crash in Maine Prairie Township.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened just before 7:00 p.m. when a Chevy Express Van was headed south on a snow-covered, icy Highway 24 near Kingston Road and hit a Freightliner Truck head-on.
The driver was not hurt, but his passenger, a 42-year-old woman from Worthington, was seriously injured. The driver of the semi also went to the ER but is expected to be okay.
