(KNSI) – Thirty teams of shooters helped raise more than $54,000 for kids across central Minnesota at the Rox Community Foundation’s sixth annual Sporting Clays Shootout.
All of the money goes to the foundation and the Kimball High School Trap Team. The sold-out event was held September 17th at Rice Creek Hunting Club in Little Falls.
Teams of four worked their way through a 17-station course, and the day also included lunch, dinner, and silent and live auctions.
The foundation is run by the St. Cloud Rox baseball club and hands out grants, donations and scholarships to youth programs in the region. The Rox and volunteers cover the administrative costs, so 100% of the money goes back into the community.
Next year’s shootout is set for September 16th, 2027, at Rice Creek Hunting Club.
