Monticello RV Center Bringing Back Local Heroes Days

(KNSI) – Local Heroes Days is expected to top 5,000 attendees in its second year at Monticello RV Center.

The business will be closed for three days starting on August 18th. The event is meant to showcase public safety, military, and other community heroes, and is free to attendees.

Sherburne and Wright Counties will both have sheriff’s department deputies on hand for demonstrations. Local and state agencies will also be on hand. Also outside, Life Link will have a helicopter landing each day.

Inside you can see a vintage 100-year-old fire truck, along with 13 other displays. Cub Foods representatives will be manning food and ice cream stands. A local leather smith will have various items for sale expressing support for the military.
