(KNSI) – Foley Fun Days still has a lot left to offer in its special downtown location. Organizing Committee President Juanita Beauchamp says it’s Family Day.
The schedule begins in the afternoon. At 1 pm Circus Manduhai takes the downtown stage to perform and the Ambassadors will be reading to kids ages three to 12 at the library. Beauchamp runs through the evening’s events.
“We have the Heavenly Hot Rod show down by the St. John’s Catholic Church. That’s from 5:00 to 8:00. And we have the Kiddie Parade. Sign-up’s at 5:45, parade starts at 6:00. And it’s Family Fun Night and we have kid’s activities, the petting zoo. We also have the fire department with the water ball fight.”
The cover band Miss Darling Jane will be rocking the stage until 10:30. Foley Fun Days wraps up on Wednesday, highlighted by the Grande Parade.
“We have bingo with the royalty and that’s at Foley City Hall at 1:00 p.m. And then the parade, which starts at 6:30. Then we have Stifle [a band] and they start right after the parade. They go until 11:00 o’clock.”
Construction has moved the festival downtown and the parade is also different than in past years.
