St. Cloud Man Sentenced For Raping Two Women

(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to raping women.

Joseph Scott Vogel pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal sexual conduct in the 3rd degree last month and was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison on Tuesday. Vogel was given credit for 436 days in jail. A charge of animal cruelty was dismissed in the deal.

In August and October of 2020, the 22-year-old sexually assaulted two different women. The women say they were dating Vogel at the time. According to the criminal complaint, Vogel admitted cutting a dog’s throat with a knife and threatening one of the victims with the knife.

Vogel must also register as a predatory offender after his release.
