(KNSI) – Snow is causing problems for drivers in central Minnesota on Thursday afternoon.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says Highway 10 and 23 are covered with light snow in the St. Cloud area. Interstate 94 also reports light snow sticking to the roads. There are also reports of freezing fog.

Road conditions get worst further to the north and west. There’s a report of a crash near Clearwater and Monticello on I-94 and a jackknifed semi-truck near Sauk Centre. MnDOT is encouraging motorists to drive with caution. The state patrol is reporting 21 crashes/ spinouts/ jackknifed semis.
