(KNSI) – A St. Cloud lawmaker wants state bonding money to help make improvements to a college in St. Cloud.
Representative Dan Wolgamott says he will introduce a bonding bill seeking $4.5 million to renovate, demolish and reconstruct St. Cloud State Unversity’s education building, early learning center, and lab. Wolgamott says the project will modernize the way education is taught at St. Cloud State.
He says the project would quadruple the amount of childcare provided for students on campus. Wolgamott says the expanded center would benefit around 1200 students and serve over 500 children and families a year.
The 2022 Legislative session begins on January 31st and is scheduled to end on May 23rd.
