(KNSI) – A woman from Albany suffered severe injuries in an ATV accident while riding on the Soo Line Trail.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were called around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday for a rollover crash at the intersection at 300th Avenue and 143rd Street near Pierz.
Deputies say an ATV was headed west on the trail when the driver lost control. Investigators say the ATV rolled onto its side and pinned 36-year-old Lacosta Miller’s hand underneath. Miller was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, where she is listed in stable condition.
According to a press release, the ATV driver, 44-year-old Christopher Wenderski of Burtrum, was not injured.
