Eden Valley Man Charged After Allegedly Sexually Abusing Three Children

(KNSI) – A 42-year-old Eden Valley man is in jail, charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly molested three children dating as far back as 2015.

According to the criminal complaint, deputies from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office were called Tuesday to the St. Cloud Hospital by a woman who said she believed her husband had been sexually abusing her three daughters.

The first girl, who is now 12, told investigators Casimiro Sosa-Saavedra touched her inappropriately both under and over her clothing. She also detailed three times when he had sex with her, the first time she was seven.

The ten-year-old said she believed the first time Sosa-Saavedra abused her was when she was eight. She told investigators he touched her under and over her clothing and had sex with her. She said he would not stop when she wanted him to stop, offered her money to come into his room, and told her not to tell her mother what happened. She said he told her he would buy her things if she performed sex acts with him and made her touch his penis.

Court papers say the seven-year-old told police Sosa-Saavedra also touched her inappropriately, had sex with her, and told her not to tell her mother.

Sexual assault examinations were performed on the three kids, and two of them tested positive for Chlamydia. Investigators say the sexual assaults happened at a home in Eden Valley and another in Waite Park.

Bail was set at $500,000 without conditions – $250,000 with. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 17th.
