(KNSI) – TEDxStCloud is returning to the Paramount Center for the Arts this fall.

Eight speakers will give TED talks on October 14th from 5 to 9 p.m. all centering around the theme of “Embrace.”

This will be the community’s fifth annual independently organized TEDx event. In 2020, TEDxStCloud speakers took the Paramount stage, but the audience tuned in via a livestream.

Here’s the TEDxStCloud 2021 lineup:

  • Robbyn Wacker, St. Cloud State University president
  • Mary Bruno, artist and owner of Bruno Press
  • Charles Eisenreich, local educator and coach
  • Niloufer Merchant, psychologist specializing in PTSD, trauma, depression and anxiety
  • Pete Rogers, automation and robotics expert
  • John Harlander, physicist and optical instrument designer for NASA
  • James Alberts, Higher Ground Church of Christ pastor
  • Annette Atkins, historian and former professor
