(KNSI) – Officials are assessing damage after at least one reported tornado touchdown in western Stearns County.
The National Weather Service says a tornado was spotted eight miles southeast of Brooten around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. A short time later, storm spotters reported a funnel cloud about a half-mile north of Belgrade. Radar also indicated a tornado near Elrosa.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is out at the scene. We will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
