(KNSI) – A 41-year-old Darwin woman was seriously injured after falling off an ATV Saturday morning.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says about 9:15, Katie Riehle was riding on the tailgate of a side by side, driven by 22-year-old Damian White of Hutchinson when she fell off, hitting her head on tailgate and the pavement. Officials say she was critically injured in the accident.
Deputies from Meeker County, Dassel Fire and Rescue, Mayo Ambulance, and Lifelink III all responded to the scene in Darwin.
Riehle was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.
