(KNSI) – Drivers around St. Cloud will be seeing plenty of orange around town starting Monday.
According to the City of St. Cloud, workers will be resurfacing roads all around town for the next few weeks. Weather permitting, the following streets will get the resurfacing treatment:
- 2nd Street North from 10th to 16th Avenue North
- 16th Avenue North from 3rd Street North to Highway 23/Division Street
- West St. Germain Street from 10th to 12th Avenue (10th Avenue and West St. Germain Street will be closed on Monday, August 23, 2021, weather permitting. Detours will be posted.)
- 1st Street South from 10th Avenue South to alley west of 5th Avenue South
- 6th Avenue South from 1st Street South to Highway 23/Division Street
- 3rd Street South from 5th to 6th Avenue South
- 14th Street South from 6th to 9th Avenue South
- 13th Street North from Northway Drive to alley west of 8th Avenue North
- 29th Avenue North from Park Drive to 12th Street North
- 29th Avenue South from 1st to 2nd Street South
- Thielman Lane and Thielman Court from Waite Avenue South to 2nd Street South
Drivers can still travel down those streets but expect minor delays or find an alternate route. All the resurfacing should be finished by early September.
