(KNSI) – The new Sierra store at Rivertown Village has an official opening date.

According to a sign outside the front door, the grand opening is set for Saturday, August 14th. The store is located at 3959 2nd Street South in St. Cloud in the former Ulta Beauty location. Ulta moved to a new retail space with an outside entrance at the Crossroads Center Mall in 2019.

The 21,000 square foot Sierra retail space will sell outdoor gear, apparel, and footwear. According to a post on its website, Sierra “offers the top brands for an active and outdoor lifestyle, with a vast selection of products for men, women, children & pets at amazing savings.”

Sierra, formerly known as Sierra Trading Post, is operated by TJX Companies, which also own off-price retailers TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls. There is a Homegoods store next door to the new Ulta Beauty location and a TJ Maxx in the Division Place Shopping Center.

Sierra store hours for the grand opening on August 14th will be from 8 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Regular store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sundays.

This location will be the company’s first outside the Twin Cities metro area.
