(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department’s Community Engagement Unit will be running a weeklong soccer camp out of the Community OutPost, or COP House next week.
The camp is set for the week of July 19th at Haws Park. Kids will be coached by area soccer players, including team members from the St. Cloud State University men’s and women’s soccer teams, St. John’s men’s team, plus young men and women from area teams from St. Cloud Tech, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Cathedral, and Sauk Rapids.
The COP House Soccer Camp is pairing with the Tony Sanneh Foundation to keep the camp free. Sanneh is a retired soccer player who was born in St. Paul.
Each participant will get a soccer ball, water bottle, and t-shirt for free.
Parents or guardians with children who would like to register for the camp can do so by emailing Taylor Richmond by clicking here or by clicking the link at the COP House Facebook page here.
