Stearns County Open For Appointments, Walk-Ins Still Not Accepted

(KNSI) – Stearns County offices are now open for appointments for all services.

Residents can continue to do their county business online, by phone, mail, email, or using one of the drop-boxes at the entrances of the Administration Center in downtown St. Cloud or Service Center in Waite Park.

Stearns County buildings are not open to walk-in traffic at this time, except for tab renewals at the License Center.

According to the county, offering services in other formats is more efficient than letting people walk inside.

Stearns County says appointments reduce wait times and are more efficient in managing customer volume.

Stearns County plans to continue with several practices started during the pandemic.
