(KNSI) – As people are starved to get back out and do “normal” things, St. Cloud’s Granite City Days is marking its return in 2021. Canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual town festival makes its triumphant return on Thursday, June 24th.
He says it’s going to be “quite an opening.”
The Lemonade Concert and Art Fair starts at 11:00 a.m on June 24th. The opening ceremonies for Granite City Days get underway at 6:30 at Husky Stadium. Chris Hawkey is going to be with the Armadillos.”
Friday is the Liberty Block Party with the Guess Who and Ozark Mountain Daredevils starting at 5:00 p.m. That is at Whitney Park.
Saturday, the Granite City Days Parade gets rolling at 10:00 a.m., followed by the downtown music crawl at noon. Music all day including into the night. So, you know, pick your go to your favorite restaurant and I’m sure you’ll see, you’ll have a musician, they’re playing in the background and it’ll be great.”
Also on Saturday at 5:00 is the St. Cloud’s Got Talent Competition on the performance stage at Lake George, followed by the fireworks there at 10:00.
Sunday is the Granite City Days 5K Run at Lake George at 8:00 a.m., followed by World Heritage Day and the closing ceremonies.
