(KNSI) – The ever-popular Lemonade Concert and Art Fair on the campus of St. Cloud State University is back for 2021.
Organizers say the annual event, which was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 24th as the traditional kickoff to Granite City Days.
The opening ceremonies for St. Cloud’sCloud’s Granite City Days will start at 6:30 at Husky Stadium and feature the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, the Fabulous Armadillos, and other special guest singers. Moving the ceremonies opens up the space between Atwood Memorial Center and Stewart Hall. Organizers say that area will now be a farmers’ market and artisan vendors.
With 140 vendors spread across campus, the art fair is welcoming back many long-time vendors and 43 new vendors who have never before showcased at the Lemonade Art Fair. The Great River Children’sChildren’s Museum will be there for the first time ever, offering different demonstrations and activities for kids on top of what’s going on over at Little Lemons Art Park.
Little Lemons Art Park will offer arts and crafts, performance art, and more. That will be located south of Stewart Hall.
In a press release, Tommy Balicky, Lemonade Concert and Art Fair co-organizer says they are “excited the Lemonade Concert and Art Fair is back. We’reWe’re happy to welcome back our vendors who want to come back and participate in this long-standing event.”
