(KNSI) — Drivers in St. Cloud will want to plan ahead this week, as the city has announced four road closures tied to tree removal, road repair, and utility work.
On the city’s north side, 6th Avenue North will be closed from 7th Street North to 9th Street North for roadway repair. A detour will be posted. The city says the closure is weather permitting.
Tuesday, McKinley Place North will be closed to through traffic between 2nd Street North and West St. Germain because of a utility repair. That closure is expected to last through Friday, November 6th, weather permitting.
Intermittent closures are planned on 9th Avenue North between 13th Street North and 15th Street North from Tuesday, November 3rd through Thursday, November 5th. Crews will be removing trees between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. Closures will be limited to a single block at a time, and detours will be posted.
On Thursday, November 5th, the westbound lanes of County Road 4/Veterans Drive will be closed from 30th Avenue North to 32nd Avenue North for private utility work. A detour will be posted for westbound traffic, while eastbound traffic will be maintained. The closure is expected to last one day, weather permitting.
