(KNSI) — Two people are dead following a wrong way crash on Interstate 94 early Sunday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol’s preliminary crash report, 57-year-old Eugene Seguin of Calgary, Alberta, was driving east in the westbound lanes of I-94 at mile marker 178 near the Fuller Rest Area west of Clearwater. The SUV then hit a Honda CR-V and a motorcycle driven by 24-year-old Ayden McDonald of Wahpeton, North Dakota. Seguin and McDonald were both killed. The two people inside the CRV suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say Seguin was not wearing his seatbelt.
