(KNSI) – Many veterans contributed their all to the cause of American freedom. Wanting to contribute in some small way, Pleasureland RV Center is helping the new Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum with a custom wrapped cargo trailer to round up historical artifacts across the state.

Brad Bacon, president and CEO of Pleasureland RV, was happy to help, saying, “We as a company wanted to be able to participate. All those stories, all those artifacts and memorabilia. That really is going to make the museum what it is.” The new state-of-the-art museum is located on a 32-acre campus just outside the gates of Camp Ripley. The museum will tell the stories of Minnesotans who have served through immersive exhibits, restored military vehicles and aircraft, interactive galleries, and more than 25,000 artifacts.

The grand opening for the new museum near Little Falls is this weekend. Among the highlights is a day of 9/11 remembrance Friday and the official Grand Opening Community Celebration Saturday. Get directions and find out more here.
