(KNSI) – A Sartell woman was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a rollover crash in St. Wendel Township that investigators believe threw her from her vehicle.

A 911 call came in around 2:00 p.m. reporting a rollover in the 33000 block of County Road 133. Stearns County deputies and Sartell police officers found a vehicle off the roadway. Investigators say the 33-year-old woman was headed north on County Road 133 when she took a curve too wide, overcorrected and went into the east ditch. The vehicle struck a road approach and rolled.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says speed and alcohol are believed to be factors.

Mayo Ambulance Service took the woman to CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed.
