Dog Walker Watch Meeting Set for Tuesday at Whitney Dog Park

(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department holds its next monthly Dog Walker Watch meeting Tuesday, July 28th, at Whitney Dog Park on Forest Drive.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join their owners for the session, which focuses on home security camera tips. The meeting runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, it will be moved to the St. Cloud Police Department headquarters downtown.

Dog Walker Watch is a community engagement program the St. Cloud Police Department runs in partnership with the National Association of Town Watch. It trains residents who walk their pets to serve as additional eyes and ears in their neighborhoods, teaching them what suspicious activity looks like and how to report it.
