(KNSI) – Summertime by George is turning to religion, with Church of Cash headlining Wednesday, July 15th’s show.
Organizers describe the Johnny Cash tribute act as capturing the deep baritone vocals and steady “boom-chicka-boom” rhythm the singer was known for. The band hits the stage at 7:00 p.m.
Opening the show at 5:30 p.m. is the Mitch Gordon Band, a regular at the free weekly summer concert series, playing country classics.
Rotary Club of St. Cloud, which puts on the shows, says the events are about more than music. Proceeds from concessions and the beer garden go entirely toward community service projects.
