(KNSI) – What started out as a morning walk in Monticello ended with a man hospitalized and the death of his dog.
According to the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, a sixty-two year old female suspect from St. Cloud has been arrested and booked into the Wright County Jail in connection with the hit-and-run incident. The car-versus-pedestrian crash occurred on Friday, July 10th, near the intersection of County Road 18 and Oak Ridge Drive in Monticello.
The victim was transported to a Twin Cities hospital. The incident remains under investigation. Charges are pending.
