(KNSI) – St. Cloud’s Lunch by the Lake returns Thursday, July 9th, for its fourth gathering of the summer.
The weekly food truck series is new to the city this year, marking St. Cloud’s first attempt at a recurring food truck event. It runs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on 12th Avenue South, between City Hall and Lake George, with tables and lawn games set up in the park.
Three food trucks are scheduled for Thursday:
Waldo’s Pizza: The downtown St. Cloud pizza shop, run by longtime owner Mike Henning at 823 W. St. Germain Street, has served the area for 30 years. The truck offers the same menu as the restaurant, including the Barnstormer.
Smash N Dash: A newer entry to the local food truck scene, launched in late May by father-son duo Ryan and Mason Cook out of the west side near 33rd and Division. The trailer serves smash burgers, hot dogs, and loaded fries.
Under the Hood Grill & Catering: Husband-and-wife team Kirk and Kelli have run the Central Minnesota food truck for more than 15 years, serving smashburgers, cheesesteaks, and gourmet hot dogs.
The Timeless Trough will also be on site serving lemonade.
Lunch by the Lake continues each Thursday through the summer at St. Cloud City Hall.
