(KNSI) – A 62-year-old Litchfield man was seriously injured in an accident at an egg production facility Wednesday morning.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in just after 10:30. Deputies and other first responders from Litchfield Rescue and Mayo Ambulance found the man had been caught in a machine, which severed his lower leg.
He was rushed to Meeker Memorial Hospital before being airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
His current condition is unknown.
