Two People Seriously Injured in Sartell Crash

(KNSI) — Two people are recovering after a serious crash in Sartell Saturday night.

According to Sartell police, their officers and firefighters, along with Mayo Ambulance, responded to the 800 block of Roberts Road for a two-vehicle crash. Both drivers were trapped and required extrication before being taken to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital. They’re both listed in serious but stable condition. A passenger in one of the vehicles had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol assisted with the investigation and provided a crash reconstruction.

According to authorities, preliminary information points to speed and alcohol impairment as contributing factors. The crash remains under investigation.
