(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man is back in the Stearns County Jail after police say he was caught stealing mail for the second time in just over two weeks.

According to the St. Cloud Police Department, officers were called to the 400 block of 8th Avenue South on Thursday, just after 1:00 in the afternoon. A homeowner reported finding packages on her property that did not belong to her. The same homeowner said a package shipped to her address was missing.

Officers reviewed video evidence and identified the suspect as 39-year-old Joshua Richard Keller. Police found Keller and say he was in possession of a large amount of mail and packages. He was arrested and booked into the Stearns County Jail.

This is not Keller’s first recent arrest for the same crime. On April 22nd, he was also arrested for felony mail theft. In that case, police say Keller claimed to be a St. Cloud Police Officer, which he is not. He was charged with misdemeanor impersonating an officer and booked into the Stearns County Jail.

Investigators believe Keller has been targeting addresses along 5th and 9th Avenues South, from 4th Street South to University Drive South.

St. Cloud Police are asking anyone who believes their mail has been stolen to contact the department at 320-251-1200.
