(KNSI) – Wednesday’s Summertime by George concert is sure to be a lively party that measures up to this year’s theme of “A Toast to Summer.”
Green Light Night takes the stage at 5:30 p.m. The five-piece band is ready to bring a slate of country, punk, and rock music to Eastman Park.
The headliner is Janelle Kendall’s Perfect Storm, a band built around up-tempo women rockers. Expect to hear classics from Joan Jett and Pat Benatar, sprinkled in with the soul of Aretha Franklin and country jams first done by the likes of Gretchen Wilson.
The annual summer concert series is put on by St. Cloud Rotary. Concerts are free with food trucks and other vendors providing tasty eats and drinks. New for this year is the ability to have alcohol anywhere in the park.
