(KNSI) – A woman was hurt after trying to walk her dog from the back of a moving pickup in Morrison County this weekend.
The injury happened just after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Belle Prairie Park. The sheriff’s office says a 37-year-old woman from Little Falls was sitting on the vehicle’s tailgate as her dog walked slowly behind. The two were connected by a leash that became snarled on a tree branch.
The woman was pulled off the truck bed and onto the ground. She landed on a paved trail, suffering unknown injuries. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Little Falls Police and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
