(KNSI) – The Camp and Travel Expo celebrates its golden anniversary this weekend by showing off over 125 RVs and travel trailers.

Americans fell in love with camping again during the COVID-19 pandemic and there’s no end in sight four years later. Pleasureland RV Sales Manager Aaron Binsfeld spoke with KNSI News about the positive news in the industry.

He beams, “Overall, the trends have been great, and camping is continuing to be a preferred way of recreating.”

The show takes place inside the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud today through Sunday. Admission is free, and those in attendance have over 125 units to look through, everything from fifth wheels and travel trailers to Super C motorhomes. Special financing rates and below dealer costs are available on some models.

Binsfeld expects the mild winter to turn into early enthusiasm to get back into the Great Outdoors. It certainly helped the staff put the expo together. “So, we started on Monday. We’ve got 126 units here at the show. Typically, it can take anywhere between a day and three days to get the units in. It really depends on what Mother Nature deals us. This year, we were really fortunate, we had an easy move-in. We had all the units set and placed in one day.”

The display sprawls across every hall at the convention center. It is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10:00-7:00 on Saturday, and 11:00-5:00 on Sunday. More information is available here.
