(KNSI) – Metro Bus is expanding Northstar Link weekday bus service between St. Cloud and Big Lake, beginning Monday, October 2nd. There will be additional Northstar Line trains to Minneapolis as well.
The earliest southbound bus leaves the East St. Cloud Park and Ride at 4:40 a.m. The latest northbound bus will pull out of Big Lake at 6:50 p.m. and arrive in St. Cloud at 7:30. There will be six buses in each direction per day. They will still connect to the Northstar Line 888 train between Big Lake and Target Field, which will have four daily runs. The full schedule is below.
Sports fans are being left out, though. Currently, there is no service for Twins and Vikings games. Minnesota is leading the American League Central and will likely be starting baseball playoffs that week.
The Vikings have two premier October home matchups. They host the Kansas City Chiefs on the 8th and the San Francisco 49ers on October 23rd.
