Sauk Rapids Based Rice Companies Expanding to Iowa

(KNSI) – A Sauk Rapids-based commercial construction firm is expanding into northeast Iowa.

Rice Companies has purchased the design and general contractor business Rose Companies, headquartered in Cedar Falls.

Rice Companies specializes in architecture, engineering, construction management, field services, maintenance, and development. It is leasing office space in Cedar Falls with plans to build a permanent location.

The company has built over 3,000 commercial and non-residential projects and has over 100 employees. It is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Headquartered in Sauk Rapids, Rice Companies also has regional offices in Glencoe, Mankato, and Fargo.
