Someone called 911 at about 5:40 to report what they thought may be a body off Highway 371 in Fort Ripley. Police arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Deputies, investigators, and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are still investigating the matter. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 218-829-4749.
