Several Offices Will Close Monday for Juneteenth Holiday

(KNSI) — Juneteenth is Monday, which means several public sector organizations will have offices closed for the day.

Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright Counties are all included, as are municipal facilities for St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, and Waite Park. State and federal employees also have the day off, which includes the United States Postal Service.

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools says there will be no summer school class at any building for pre-K through 12th grade. Community Education Enrichment and Recreation classes, plus all other events and meetings, are also canceled. Buildings will be closed except for childcare. Summer school will take a day off in District 742, as well.

Parking in downtown St. Cloud will be free on Monday, both in the lots and on the street in the metered spots. Most banks are closed and so is the stock market will be closed.
