(KNSI) – St. Cloud Metro Bus’s Chief Administrative Officer Sunny Hesse was named the 2023 Minnesota Public Employers Labor Relations Association’s Excellence in Labor Relations Award winner.
The award recognizes a person who makes an outstanding contribution to public sector management and labor relations during their career.
According to Metro Bus, Hesse has successfully negotiated multiple union contracts and works to ensure management and labor are heard and meet their needs.
Ms. Hesse has been the Human Resources Director at Metro Bus since June 2017 and became Chief Administration Officer in September 2020. Hesse has served on the ROCORI School Board since 2016 and has been a member of MPELRA and the National Public Employers Labor Relations Association since 2010.
