(KNSI) – A Twin Cities company is celebrating a decade of helping to search for a cure to childhood cancer.

Northwestern Mutual announced a donation of more than $100,000 to M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital to celebrate its years of support. The money is part of the company’s pledge to raise a million dollars for the hospital.

Fundraisers include a Concert for Kids featuring Nashville singer-songwriters Rivers Rutherford, Tim James and Joybeth Taylor to benefit the hospital and support childhood cancer research.

Since 2012, the firm’s program has been focused on better treatments and cures while supporting families and survivors.
