(KNSI) — Nobody was hurt, but some scary moments for passengers aboard a Delta Airlines jet making a landing at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport Tuesday night.

The plane, an Airbus A320, had just arrived from Los Cabos, Mexico, when the “nose gear went off the pavement” and got stuck in the snow. It stopped roughly 30 feet off the taxiway. Metro Transit buses were called in to drive the passengers back to the terminal.

There were 147 passengers on board.

Drizzle had been falling, the runways and taxiways were icy, and there was a short stoppage of air traffic.

Flights have been canceled and delayed at MSP Wednesday morning. If you’re flying, you’re asked to check with your airline first to see the status of your flight.
