(KNSI) – You’ll want to hold onto your hat across central Minnesota on Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory from 3:00 p.m. Friday to 3:00 a.m. Saturday in Benton, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright County. Meteorologists say wind will come from the northwest at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Gusty winds could blow around loose objects. Officials say to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle and secure any outdoor objects.
