Fundraiser to be Held October 26th to Help Anna Marie’s Alliance

(KNSI) — As part of October’s National Domestic Violence Awareness month, KNSI sister station 104.7 KCLD will be tending for a cause later this month to help Anna Marie’s Alliance.

Anna Marie’s Alliance is an emergency shelter that provides safety, protection, support, and referral services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. The money will be used to serve its residents a Thanksgiving meal.

The Beaver Island Brewing Company taproom in St. Cloud will host the fundraiser on Wednesday, October 26th. A portion of the sales from the event and, as KCLD Morning Playhouse co-host Kat, who will be one of those behind the bar, explains, “if you throw a bonus tip in, anything that ends up in one of the beer jugs that will be out on the counter we’ll go to that as well.”

Kat says people can also be reminded about Tending for a Cause via Facebook. “It will alert you when we are a week out and a day out. And what a great time to just stop on out to grab a brew with a friend and know that you’re helping fund the feast for Anna Marie’s Alliance.”

Tending for a Cause for Anna Marie’s Alliance runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
