Boys Soccer
Cathedral 8, Fergus Falls 0: Cathedral dominated with six goals in the second half to pull away from the Otters of the Central Lakes Conference. Jack Stang had a hat trick for the Crusaders. Senior Joseph Torborg added a goal and two assists. Cathedral goalie Noah Henderson had to make just five saves to pick up the shutout.

College Football
The Johnnies have slid to #6 in NCAA Division III football following a weekend loss to Bethel University. Saint John’s went up 24-21 with 9:38 to go in the game only to immediately give up a 72-yard touchdown pass 16 seconds later. Bethel’s Micah Niewald hauled it in from QB Jaran Roste for the one-play drive and deciding score. Bethel won 28-24.
College Hockey
Following a weekend sweep over the Tommies, Saint Cloud State University Men’s Hockey jumps to #10 in the country according to the lastest USCHO.com media poll. The Huskies were #13 in the preseason poll. Other NCHC squads in the Top 20 include Denver (#1), North Dakota (#3), Minnesota-Duluth (#4), and Western Michigan (#18).
