(KNSI) – An organization gave $25,000 to the CentraCare Foundation to support families suffering the loss of a newborn child.

The Love to Henry Foundation presented the check to the Women’s and Newborn Health Department in July. According to the foundation, the money will help build a bereavement suite for local families at St. Cloud Hospital’s family birthing unit.

The foundation hopes the suite will provide a comfortable place for a family to create memories, say goodbye and comfort each other at a tragic time.

The Love to Henry Foundation provides local support for expecting families and families with perinatal or infant loss and raises awareness, research, prevention and education on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
