(KNSI) — Apparently, happiness in Minnesota costs more than $100,000.

A new survey shows Minnesotans feel like they need to earn at least $105,000 a year to be happy and to live comfortably. The survey factored in the cost of living, unemployment, emotional well-being, and crime rates. The website says happiness is subjective, and living comfortably means something different for different people.

Minnesota’s rate is in line with the national price tag.

According to the survey, the cheapest state to live in is Mississippi. The minimum amount there is $87,465. Hawaii is the most expensive state for happiness, with people saying they need to make at least $203,000.
