(KNSI) – A Sartell teenager is holding a fundraiser to raise awareness about mental health issues for middle and high school kids. During her Don’t Stop Now fundraiser, Reese Ehrlichman is raising money for the new Kaizen program.

“This is specifically for teen/tweens. So, children just like me can go in for placement therapy etc. All at no cost to the family. So all of the funds raised will go to the new Kaizen program.”

The teen program will provide free urgent care and therapy for young people needing mental health help. The Kaizen program will be part of the Beautiful Mind Project’s new clinic, Mindology Wellness Center, opening this month.

Reese’s mom, Robyn, says she hopes the program will help knock down stigmas around seeking help.

“It should be like a broken bone. Mental health is health. We just need to step up and help our friends and help people get through all this stuff.”

The private fundraiser is Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Midtown Bar in St. Cloud. The evening will include two comedy shows with Adrian Washington and Bonnie the Barfly, free samples of wine and beer, and a voucher for a food truck. Tickets are $50. For ticket information, email robyn.ehrlichman@gmail.com.
