(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says some changes are coming for the business hours when gun permits will be accepted.
A press release from the sheriff’s office says due to staffing levels, gun permit applications will not be accepted at the Melrose Police Department on Friday, January 7th. Applications at the Melrose Police Department will resume on Friday, February 4th.
Officials say there will no longer be extended business hours for gun permit applications on Tuesdays. Normal business hours will revert to 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
