(KNSI) — Those interested in going to the movies but who wanted to wait until vaccinations were required are in luck.

Marcus Theaters, the company that owns the Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park, is adding that theater to the list of its locations offering vaccine required showings. Once a week, the theater offers an afternoon and an evening showing for select titles for vaccinated customers only. The vaccine requirement does not apply to all showings, just those listed on the website as vax required.

According to the Marcus Theaters website, guests attending the vax required shows will be asked to present a vaccination card or a photo of the card and a photo ID. A negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted for admittance into a vaccine required showing. The vaccine requirement also applies to children. The website says kids 11 and under will not be allowed to attend these showings if they are unvaccinated, even if they wear masks. Guests are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson dose.

Regular showtimes will be offered for the same titles for those not vaccinated or who have no preference.
