(KNSI) – A 21-year-old woman is in custody after a fatal crash Sunday morning in Maple Grove.
According to a press release from Maple Grove police, the crash on County Road 81 was called in from a vehicle’s emergency assistance service about 4:30. When they arrived, officers say they found a three vehicle crash. A 67-year-old woman in one of those vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. A 31-year-old man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 21-year-old woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was later arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation.
The investigation is ongoing. No names were released.
