(KNSI) — Investigators in Todd County are looking into what led to a fatal shooting in Long Prairie Sunday morning.
According to a press release, police were called to respond to a report of gunshots about 3:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man dead in the yard of a home. Another man was taken from the scene and later airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. Hospital staff said a third person arrived at Long Prarie Hospital and transferred to St. Cloud Hospital.
The Midwest Medical Examiner was called to conduct an autopsy and identify the victim.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting in the investigation. No further information was released.
