(KNSI) – A man was killed after crashing his SUV into a semi-truck in Wright County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the semi was backing into a private residence off Highway 55 in Maple Lake Township just after 8 p.m. on Friday. The semi was blocking both lanes of the highway.
Jeffery Steven Christiansen was headed east on the highway and hit the semi-truck near Donnelly Drive NW. The 64-year-old Hopkins man died from injuries suffered in the crash.
The 50-year-old semi driver wasn’t hurt.
